
The NCBA Golf Series made a thrilling stop at the scenic Nanyuki Sports Club on Saturday, producing six new qualifiers for the season-ending Grand Finale at Muthaiga Golf Club in November.
Men’s Overall Gross winner Cyprian Bundi and Ladies’ Gross champion Purity Githui led the way, securing their places alongside Division One winner Gabriel Miungi, Division Two champion Mugiiira Muthuri, Division Three victor Gatheru Wachira, and Junior winner Robin Bebbington (Jnr).
Bundi fired an impressive 70 gross to clinch the men’s title, while Githui carded 87 to top the ladies’ leaderboard.
In the nett contests, Miungi scored 36 points to claim Division One, while Muthuri produced 41 points to dominate Division Two.
Jennifer Kariuki won the Ladies’ Division Two with 27 points, and Henry Kamotho prevailed in Division Three with 35 points.
In the junior category, Bebbington returned 27 points to secure victory.
Kenneth Sawe emerged Guest Winner with 36 points, as Jesse Masiga took Staff Winner honors on 21 points.
The side contests saw Mercy Wanjira win the Ladies’ Longest Drive, Bebbington also taking the Men’s Longest Drive, while Kariuki and Umraj Sehmi triumphed in the Nearest to Pin challenges.

Nanyuki Sports Club Chairman Joseph Mwangi hailed the event as a success:
“The turnout, competition, and spirit of the game show how much this series means to our golfers. We’re proud to host this qualifier and grateful to NCBA for supporting golf at this level. Our winners have made us proud, and we look forward to them shining at the Grand Finale.”
NCBA Bank Kenya Managing Director James Gossip praised both the players and the community engagement:

The Nanyuki event marked the tenth leg of the series, following customer engagements across the Central region.
Focus now shifts to Kericho Golf Club next weekend, where more golfers will battle for a place at the November 28 showdown in Muthaiga.
