The 2025 NCBA U.S. Kids Golf Fall Season concluded on Sunday with the Championship Tour at Muthaiga Golf Club, featuring 146 junior golfers — 96 boys and 50 girls — aged between 5 and 18.
The young players competed across various age categories for both Tour Championship titles and Priority Status points.
Organized in partnership with U.S. Kids Golf, the Junior Golf Foundation Kenya, and supported by NCBA Bank, the tournament marked the climax of a vibrant season dedicated to nurturing junior golf talent in Kenya.
In the Boys 9 category, James Tino was the standout performer, playing 3-under-par to claim the round’s top spot ahead of Hakeem Mutungi, who maintained his lead in the overall season standings.
Adam Nesbitt, who has dominated every event he participated in this season, carded 3-over-par 75 to win the Boys 12 category for the round, bringing his season total to 240 points to top the leaderboard.
“Today wasn’t my best — I could have played much better,” said Nesbitt after his round. “But I’m happy to finish the season strong. I’ll keep working hard as I prepare for the upcoming NCBA Kenya Invitational in December.”
In the Girls 11–12 category, Ashley Gachora capped off a brilliant season, shooting even par to extend her total to 260 points and secure the overall title.
The U.S. Kids Golf Nairobi Fall Tour remains a vital platform for junior golfers, offering them the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow in a friendly yet competitive setting.

Meanwhile, in the NCBA Golf Series played at Muthaiga Golf Club on Saturday, 13-year-old Brianna Ngecu produced a stellar performance to emerge as the Overall Lady Winner after carding 81 strokes off handicap 10.
The victory earned her a spot in the Grand Finale set for November 28 at Muthaiga.
In the men’s category, Quram Bhatti (handicap +1) returned an impressive 71 gross to emerge Overall Men Winner, beating Bhavnish Chandaria on countback to also qualify for the finale.
Other winners included Joel Mugo (Overall Division One Winner – 39 points), Christine Ng’ang’a and Ravi Patel (Division Two Lady and Man Winners – 42 and 41 points respectively), Wanjiku Mbuthi (Overall Division Three Winner – 39 points), and Maina Kaniu (Junior Winner – 40 points).
Edwin Olweny and Daniel Chege were crowned Guest and Staff winners respectively.

Bhatti and junior player Hazel Kuria claimed the longest drive titles for men and women, while Peter Mwindi and Nyambura Gitimu won nearest to the pin.
The winners — Ngecu, Bhatti, Ng’ang’a, Patel, Mbuthi, and Kaniu — join other qualifiers from across the country who will compete in the NCBA Golf Series Grand Finale later this month at Muthaiga.
At the same time, during the Golf Park Open, 15-year-old Harish Shashwat put on a remarkable show in the Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) series, finishing second after a playoff loss to home player James Maina.
Shashwat posted rounds of 71, 70, and 68 for a total of 1-under-par 209, matching Maina’s score of 73, 66, and 70 before narrowly losing in the playoff.
