The final qualifying leg of the 2025 NCBA Golf Series is taking place this Saturday, November 1, at Muthaiga Golf Club, marking the climax of the qualifying phase ahead of the Grand Finale slated for November 28, 2025, at the same venue.

Now in its fifth year, the Series has drawn over 300 golfers who will compete for the remaining slots to the finale in various categories, including Overall Men and Lady Gross Winners, Division 2 Men and Lady Winners, Division 3 Overall Winner, and Junior Winner.

The action-packed weekend will also feature the Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) Series at Golf Park, where the fourth edition of the Golf Park Open runs from Friday, October 31 to Sunday, November 2.

Defending champion Josphat Rono will be looking to retain his title against strong contenders such as Elvis Muigua, William Odek, Isaac Makokha, Joyce Wanjiru, and Mercy Nyanchama.

Meanwhile, the NCBA U.S. Kids Golf Fall Nairobi Local Tour will conclude on Sunday, November 2, with the Tour Championship at Muthaiga Golf Club.

The event will bring together at least 200 junior golfers aged between 5 and 18 years to compete in age-specific categories.

Organised in partnership with U.S. Kids Golf and the Junior Golf Foundation Kenya, and supported by NCBA Bank, the tournament underscores the bank’s continued commitment to developing young talent.

Through such investments, NCBA aims to provide budding golfers with opportunities to hone their skills and gain international exposure.

The junior participants will also have a chance to earn Priority Status points toward qualification for U.S. Kids Golf international tournaments, including the Regional Invitational and the Regional Championship later in the year.

Speaking ahead of the events, NCBA Group Managing Director John Gachora reaffirmed the bank’s dedication to golf development across all levels.

“We are in for yet another busy golfing weekend, from the NCBA Golf Series to the KAGC Series, to the U.S. Kids Golf Tour Championship at Muthaiga. This is a testament to what we continue to work towards in our involvement in the sport by ensuring that we grow the game at all levels.

As we come to the end of the qualifying phase of the NCBA Golf Series and approach the Grand Finale, we are immensely grateful to everyone who has made it a success — the players, the caddies, the clubs. We are proud to support this dynamic sport that fosters community and skill development across the region.”
